We provided professional services to review the Solar Panel Installation for the referenced residential properties below. We made visual observations and reviewed the as-built condition of the existing structures, only what was readily and visually available without demolition of finish material or the movement of equipment or items located in and around the properties.

We made site visits to the referenced properties. Photographs were taken of both the exterior and interior of the houses.

We collected the relevant as built dimensions and took photographs of the structure and the exterior elevations. We required the property owners to be present to allow us entry into the buildings.

We gather and check the following information below during our residential site inspections:

• Stick-Built Trusses or Metal Plate Connected Trusses.
• Slope of each roof.
• Clear maximum clearance at ridge.
• Species, Grade and Size for top chords, rafters, ceiling joists, web members, bracing.
• Identify if there are any intermediate bearing walls and distance from the exterior wall.
• If Metal Plate Connected Trusses, we collected dimension of panel points.
• Truss spacing.
• Roof sheathing information.
• Types of roof covering.
• Continuity of ceiling joists and bottom chord of trusses.
• Types of ceiling finish to bottom side of ceiling joists.
• Photographs of ridge beam or connection at ridge beam.
• Photographs of connection at eaves.
• Exterior photographs of the residence and roof lines.
• Information of such irregularities as dormers or additions or missing members.
• Roof overhang dimensions

Based on the photographs and information collected we review the existing conditions of the roof framing to accept the new load as well as the snow load required by the Jurisdictional Authority.
Member sizes of the roof framing are measured in the field.  If strengthening services are required, they are completed as additional services.

We review roof truss dimensions and spacing, the roof framing, age of the property and general condition of the property.

The Clients coordinate the permitting efforts with the township requirements.  If there were additional services required to achieve township approval beyond the time limitation then these would be billed as additional services.  Design and review follows the Latest Building Code enforce.
