BE Structural has created solutions for rock climbing facilities that require a free standing structure with no attachment to interior walls. We enjoy working with extreme rock climbing enthusiasts, facility designers and physical fitness professionals to improve the structural stability, installation feasibility and course difficulty for rock climbing systems.
In 2014, our team engineered a free standing rock climbing structure for a Texas climbing facility. We used 3D computer modeling to create a ballasted system supported by inter-connected wall modules. The structure was further supported with steel weights to prevent movement.
